Looking for something special? I was too! Hunting in trees & bushes for Bugs in Jerome, Arizona. Finally, like a staged cottagecore scene, I spotted this beautiful Moth lying in the soil by a walkway full of flowers! The poor critter was expiring as I held it in my hand.
I LOVE Moths & was sad to see nature taking its course.
Instantly inspired, I went to work on my iPad to create my illustration painting of The Edwards' Glassy-Wing Moth. Working from life, video, and pictures of this beauty was really special.
